Charter a Flight to the Florida Keys

Cypress Air Charter is an FAA-certified air carrier operating out of Fort Myers, Florida. We own, maintain and operate all of our own equipment. Our maintenance personnel and procedures comply with all of the stringent FAA requirements, and our pilots undergo stricter training than most commercial pilots. When you choose us for private charters to the Florida Keys, you’ll be in the hands of aviation experts.

One thing that sets us apart from our competitors is the incredible personalized and detail-oriented service we offer. We strive to make your charter flight experience second to none and are constantly working to supply you with quality aircraft and affordable prices, without any surprises.

We offer a selection of aircraft, such as the high-performance Cessna Corvallis TTx and the multi-engine Tecnam P2006T, for leisure or business travel. No trip is too big or too small. We fly to virtually anywhere in the Southeast United States and adjacent islands. Just let us know where you would like to go, and we’ll get you there.

What’s In the Florida Keys?

U.S. 1, the Overseas Highway, connects the 120-mile-long chain of Florida Keys islands to mainland Florida. You could fly into Miami International Airport (MIA / KMIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL / KFLL) and drive to the Keys, but we can also fly you into Florida Keys Marathon Airport (MTH / KMTH), a smaller facility that will shave a lot of precious time off of your journey.

As you may imagine, the major industries here are fishing and tourism. The Florida Keys feature the only living coral barrier reef in the United States. You can simply relax on a hammock suspended between two palm trees, or enjoy some of these other activities:

  • Diving/Snorkeling  |  The best way to see the underwater beauty of the Florida Keys is to get up close and personal with marine life on a snorkeling excursion, or dive to explore a shipwreck on the ocean floor.  Some of the best diving in the Keys is found at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo.
  • Fishing  |  The Keys are bordered by the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Straits of Florida on the other and are full of the world’s most sought-after game fish, such as marlin, tuna, kingfish, dolphin, wahoo and more. Islamorada, with its crystal blue waters, is known as the Sport Fishing Capital of the World.
  • Everglades National Park  |  With 1.4 million acres, this is the largest tropical wilderness in the U.S. Visitors can see 350 species of birds including bald eagles, 300 species of fresh and saltwater fish, 40 species of mammals, and 50 species of reptiles.

Why Fly Private?

If you’ve been on a commercial flight lately, you know what a headache it can be. Allotting enough time for long check-in lines, airport security screening, layovers, connecting flights, delays and cancellations can take up most of your day. And then there are the extra fees for carry-on bags, checked bags, priority seating, and so on. It’s difficult to get any enjoyment out of your trip.

Private flights, on the other hand, are headache-free. Choose a convenient departure time, pull up to the plane and climb aboard, and let our capable staff take care of the rest. Just relax and enjoy the view. If you need to depart early or change your flight route, we’re happy to do whatever you need.

If you’re interested in private charters to the Florida Keys or any of our other destinations, don’t hesitate to give us a call. In addition to your flight, we can assist you with car, hotel and dinner reservations, sightseeing excursions, and anything else that will help you enjoy your trip.
